Mapping the Outdoors ArcGIS Server Web Application ::: Quincy, Illinois
Mapping the Outdoors contracted with Swova to update their current web application that allows users to zoom to an area in the US, display high resolution imagery and order a printed map. Swova built this new application using ArcGIS Server/Silverlight and ArcGIS Image Server technology. Utilizing ArcGIS Image Server, Swova defined and created image services for MTO’s high resolution file based imagery (covering a good portion of the US). The web application utilizes a combination of Google’s address search functionality with ESRI map services and MTO image/map services to allow the user to search for a specific location; display high resolution imagery with contours and street data; select different paper sizes and order custom printed maps. This application integrates direction with PayPal so that users can place orders using PayPal accounts. Additionally, Swova build an administration portion to this web application that allows MTO to track placed orders, query order history, change paper type/size and other properties that will be automatically updated on the actual web site.
ArcGIS Server Land Records Application ::: Georgetown/Scott County, Kentucky
Swova is developing an ArcGIS Server web application for Georgetown – Scott County that will utilize ESRI’s ArcGIS Server 10 and Microsoft’s Silverlight technology. The web application will provide access to GIS and PVA land records data. Part of this project will include Swova integrating systems between PVA, Building Inspection and GIS.
Web Application Development ::: City of Higginsville, Missouri
The City of Higginsville has contracted with Swova to provide ArcGIS Server support and web application development for their GIS. Recently, Swova completed an internal web application (build with ArcGIS Server and Silverlight technology) for the City. The web application makes available all GIS data (land, sewer, water, electric and imagery) and provides basic web application functionality (pan, zoom, printing, redlining, etc), along with custom searches specific to the City’s GIS data.
ArcGIS Server Application Development ::: McHenry County, Illinois
Swova has provided web application and map service development to McHenry County GIS. The custom ArcGIS Server applications have been developed with Microsoft’s .NET and Silverlight technologies and include the following: an interactive property web application that utilizes SQL Server Reporting Services that display live data from the CAMA system integrated with the property GIS data; a construction projects application for the Department of Transportation that allows the public to search and view current and planned road construction projects; and a Sex Offender Location Analysis, Editing, and Reporting web application for the Sheriff's Department. Swova is currently providing development assistance with developing robust authentication for various web applications and various other web applications for County departments.
ArcGIS Server Installation/Configuration & Training ::: City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri
City Utilities selected Swova to perform the on-site installation and configuration of ArcGIS Server (web server). Swova setup and configured production and development environments and passed along detailed knowledge and documentation related to the configuration and administration of ArcGIS Server. Additionally, Swova provided a detailed transfer of knowledge/training session related to creating and managing ArcGIS Server Map Services.
ArcGIS Server(ArcSDE) and MSSQL Server Installation and Configuration ::: Clark County, Ohio
Clark County contracted with Swova for ArcSDE/SQL Server installation and configuration on a newly rebuilt database server. Swova installed and configured the software (ArcSDE/SQL Server); migrated data from previous databases; loaded imagery; setup automated processes for versioning and database administration and maintenance tasks. Additionally, Swova provided detailed transfer of knowledge and documentation.
Support Services Renewal ::: Ozarks Electric, Arkansas
Ozarks Electric Cooperative has renewed the support services contract with Swova. Swova provides remote, on-call technical support services to Ozarks Electric’s enterprise GIS system.
Enterprise GIS Implementation ::: Georgetown/Scott County, Kentucky
Swova has planned and implemented an enterprise GIS system for the Georgetown-Scott County Planning Commission GIS Office. The new GSCPC enterprise GIS includes a SQL Server 2008 / ArcSDE 9.3.1 enterprise geodatabase and a web services / applications server based on ESRI's ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 technology. The enterprise GIS serves multiple local government agencies across the City of Georgetown and Scott County.
ArcSDE/Oracle Services Contract ::: City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri
Swova has been awarded another Support Services Contract by City Utilities. Services provided include on-call, remote ArcSDE/Oracle and Enterprise GIS support services.
Geodatabase Data Model ::: Arch Coal Company, Missouri
Swova is assisting Arch Coal in developing a new Geodatabase data model for all mine and property related data.
GIS Support Services Contract ::: McHenry County, Illinois
McHenry County has awarded another GIS Support Services contract to Swova. Swova has been providing GIS Support Services to McHenry County since 2005. Under this contract, Swova will support the County in the following areas: ArcSDE/SQL Server enterprise database administration and maintenance; custom application development; custom ArcGIS Server web application specification and development for both internal and public applications.
Waste Management Customer Database Development ::: Lexington/Fayette County (LFUCG), Kentucky
The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG) contracts with Swova to design and development a Waste Management Customer Information Database to support the implementation of a new garbage routing system. As a part of the project, Swova will migrate the mainframe data into a new SQL Server 2008 database schema and develop automated geoprocessing processes to update the database with new residential address locations and related information.
ArcGIS Server Development Support ::: Shawano County, Wisconsin
Swova has been awarded a services contract to assist Shawano County develop and deploy a custom ArcGIS Server web application.
Electric Geometric Network ::: Kirkwood Electric, Missouri
Kirkwood Electric contracted with Swova to develop and implement a geometric network for their electric network data. In addition, Swova provided custom training and transfer of knowledge related to the editing of network features and the use of the network for tracing tasks.
Sewer Inspection - ArcGIS Server Silverlight Application ::: Hannibal Board of Public Works, Missouri
Swova developed a custom ArcGIS Server application for sewer inspection using Microsoft’s Silverlight API for ArcGIS Server. This focused application provides the user the ability to query and generate sewer cleaning jobs. Additionally, the application contains functionality required to report miles of sewer mains that meet specific criteria (date cleaned, type of maintenance, etc).
ArcGIS Server Implementation ::: Hopkins County, Kentucky
Swova is providing Hopkins County with both onsite and remote ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 setup, configuration, and implementation services. As a part of the project, Swova provided the County with transfer of knowledge services related to the ArcGIS Server configuration, map services design and best practices, as well as map caching development and techniques.
Custom Development & Geodatabase Data Modeling ::: Duckett Creek Sanitary District, Missouri
Duckett Creek selected Swova to assist them with the migration to GIS from their current CAD system. This included the following: developing a geodatabase data model for the sewer data and converting CAD data into this data format; developing a custom ArcReader application to simplify searches and reporting of the data; developing a custom ArcGIS Server application for internal web access.
